Since its inception, The Blue Griffin has desired to find a way to accommodate studio time that allows experimental collaborations with artists, writers and creative people within our network. In July of 2010 we found the opportunity to launch COMIX MAG, an e-zine that creates the space to explore that area of the studio’s mission. The feature project is Nowhere Man, an original comic series, currently running on comixmag.com (also built in the studio) as a web comic. Over the past five months The Blue Griffin has been collaborating with artists in music and film to generate additional content around the storyline. With additional content slated for production far into 2011, it certainly is an exciting time as The Blue Griffin begins generating original content.
